My Journey

From accounting to understanding businesses.

My professional journey did not follow a perfectly designed plan. It evolved.

I started with finance and accounting — a discipline that teaches you to look closely at numbers, systems, controls and accountability. But working with businesses changes the way you see numbers.

You begin to realise that behind every balance sheet is a business. Behind every business is a group of people. Behind every decision is a trade-off. And behind every successful business is usually a combination of judgment, timing, execution, capital and persistence.

That curiosity gradually pulled me into different areas — and each one changed how I saw the last.

01

Finance

Understanding how businesses make and use money.

02

Governance

Understanding how businesses should be structured, controlled and protected.

03

Entrepreneurship

Understanding what it actually means to build something, rather than simply advise someone who is building it.

04

Investing

Putting capital behind my own judgment.

05

Wealth

Thinking beyond earning money — towards preserving, compounding, and eventually creating something meaningful with it.

06

Thinking

Trying to make sense of everything I have seen. That is the journey I am still on.
